Qprints is a division of Fromex Photo Lab, Inc. - a pro lab that has been serving the San Diego area since 1982.

In 2009 we came up with Qprints as a way to focus on our most important service - traditional photographic prints. This is our core service, and we wanted a way to market just photographic prints, and at the same time we were looking for a way to market to more than just our local San Diego area.

What's wrong with marketing as Fromex you say? We do, though mainly just locally. Fromex was once a franchise with locations all over the country, some of which are still around today. So while we have a great reputation in San Diego, this makes marketing a challenge in the internet age, as there are other labs named Fromex. Qprints ends up being the perfect way to get around the "Fromex confusion" and at the same time focus completely on a single product - photographic prints on traditional silver halide paper. Long story short, in San Diego we go by Fromex Pro Lab, and every where else Qprints.

Since Fromex is our parent company, you will see Fromex Photo Lab, Inc. on our work orders and invoices, as well as your credit card statement.
